The Totality of His Image

It must be very offensive to Almighty God to see certain of His servants striving to be like someone else. While there is nothing wrong with admiring a particular gift or trait, no one can be a better you, than you. We were made to be uniquely different and to demonstrate the incomprehensible personalities of our God. There is a certain way God wants His image demonstrated in the earth and He has made us all different to facilitate that. So, again, it must be very offensive to Him to see His creation gravitating toward becoming like everyone else instead of becoming more like Him. If He wanted us all to be identical, He would have cloned us, but He created us, EXPECTING the differences within each of us to make up His vast collage of Himself in the earth.

Prophet or Holy Prophet?

Abraham was a Chaldean prophet from Ur until God called him out of Babylon unto a new place and sanctified him unto Himself as a holy prophet and friend of God. People, let’s not be deceived. Many people have proclaimed themselves to be prophets, but whose prophet are they? Balaam was a prophet. Jezebel called herself prophetess, and even the old man who seduced the younger prophet to disobey God was a prophet. The term prophet is a loose term that anyone can use but to be a holy prophet of God is something quite different. Many have prophet or prophetess before their name and rightfully so. They can prophesy, foretell, predict, or dream of things to come, but never make the mistake of associating all prophets with God’s holy prophets. God’s prophets have been cut out of their own mold and will not compromise with sin, won’t divide the Body of Christ, and will not partake in anything against the nature of God. Taste the person’s fruit to see if their is a bitter aftertaste, see if the spirit of God agrees with their character before you count a prophet as one of God’s holy prophets.

Tested Character of the Holy Prophet

One sure test to determine the character of God’s holy prophets is this: While in their presence, do you detect the glory of God to the point that you want to bow in worship and reverence to Him alone or do you sit in admiration of the person preaching? A holy prophet WILL ALWAYS GIVE GLORY TO GOD AND WILL NEVER, NEVER TAKE IT AWAY FROM HIM

The Holy Prophet Has a God Agenda

God’s holy prophets are not UNTOUCHABLES. As in times of old, they sat with the people and TAUGHT THEM THE WORD, WAYS, AND NATURE OF GOD. They worked with the people and labored with them while maintaining a degree of separation to not become common with the people. They are people of great character, reputation, and integrity. They don’t hold secret meetings and they never entice men after themselves. The only agenda a holy prophet has is a God agenda.

Truth About Prophets and Finances

God’s Holy Prophets will deliver the word of the Lord whether the requesting agency has money or not. They are not bound by physical barriers. As with Elijah, when there were no provisions, God Himself sent provisions to Him. If a prophet tells you that you cannot afford to bring them in, count that a blessing that you have not subjected yourself nor your people to being fleeced. While it is biblical to honor those sent to minster to you or those you seek out to minister to you as in the case of Saul bringing silver to Samuel, the prophet will reveal the word of the Lord regardless of the honorarium. If they are God’’s holy prophets, the spirit of God will compel you to give, you won’t feel pressured or raped and you will INDEED be blessed for doing so because you obeyed GOD, the widow of Zarephath can testify to this.

Jezebel’s False Love for the Prophets

Jezebel is attracted to God’s holy prophets to sabotage their ministries and assassinate their character. This spirit follows their ministry and will try to join forces to undermine it from within. This spirit will flatter the prophet, seduce the prophet, and manipulate the prophet until it has compromised their ear gate. It is the sole responsibility of the holy prophet to guard their office and guard their heart. This spirit will turn many simple minds away from the truth in an attempt to overthrow and pollute true prophetic ministry to bring shame to the holy prophet. You must stand firm on your assignment and not be swayed by who comes into your life nor who exits. The holy prophet is to be steadfast in all things and not swayed by man’s opinions nor follow that which appears to be popular at the time. Holy prophets are leaders, not followers and once Jezebel determines that you will not suffer its antics nor bow to them, it will cower and go into hiding.

Dismissed

As a holy prophet, you have the right to dismiss those from your company who bring in another spirit. Where there are spirits of chaos, rebellion, competition, jealousy, and mammon being brought into your sacred environment, you have the responsibility to close your circle to guard your gates. Elisha dismissed Naaman because he began to operate in another spirit. Naaman was rejected as armor bearer to the prophet because the deeds of his heart were manifest. Let people think you are funny, stuck up, arrogant, or mean but you have an obligation to protect that which has been entrusted to you. A person’s feelings or friendship must never take precedence over your God given assignment

Connected TO You or Connected WITH You?

Just because someone is connected to you does not mean that they are connected with you. These times have proven that many are operating in ulterior motives and will drain you of what you have to bolster their image. Use wisdom in regard to sowing into other people. Some cannot contain the capacity to retain what you teach them because they refuse to live holy and others may take what they’ve learned and use it to build their kingdom. Gehazi thought that by being Elisha’s armor bearer that he could take credit for the works done through Elisha’s miracle ministry, but Elisha exposed him and the Lord pronounced a curse upon him as a just reward for betraying the prophet.

There are some who are taking your classes, attending your churches, reading your books or fb page, and joining your prayer lines to steal information to build their own ministries. God doesn’t partner with thieves and neither will He use those who build on another man’s foundation. Authentic ministries should have received an impartation to minister or a spiritual inheritance through a bonafide relationship to minister, but liars and thieves shall have their reward.

Gehazi thought he could deceive Elisha and chase after Naaman to solicit material wealth in secret when in all actuality, what he did was seal his own fate and disqualify himself from receiving Elisha's mantle.

Suffer the Little Children

What we are seeing around the nation among our young people is the generation of children who were left at home while their parents or grandparents went to church. Even in church, there are many parents who go one way and their children another way so the children won’t distract them while they are enjoying the service. How can your child know your God if you don’t give them the opportunity to do so? When we do this and the streets begin to consume them then we bring them to church and throw them on the altar, almost shoving them in God’s face. That son or daughter should have been shoved God’s face at birth, in fifth grade, in high school and then they will know how to find God in times of trouble.

You do your child a great disservice by leaving them at home while you worship. If they are unruly, then you have 6 days to train them for proper behavior in service in Sunday. And in you are attending a child unfriendly church where people look at you like you have a plague when you bring your children, I have a few words of wisdom for you, FIND ANOTHER CHURCH WHERE CHILDREN ARE NOT JUST TOLERATED BUT CELEBRATED.

Spectator or Participator?

During worship service today, and any other times, you will have two groups of people; the spectators and the participators. The spectators come to see, watch, and pay close attention to every thing but the thing they are supposed to pay attention to. They can tell you who had on what, who sat next to who, how many times so and so went to the bathroom, and who all shouted. They can tell you who led the songs, who took up the offering and what the pastor had on while preaching. They can give you a person's shoe color, whether there was a run in someone's hose and what so and so kids were doing. But ask them about the word of God and they couldn't tell you. Ask them if the Lord spoke directly to them and they couldn't tell you. But concerning the carnal thing, they are well versed.

The participator comes to service to praise and worship their God. They could care less what so and so has on. In fact, they don't even remember because they were preoccupied with the presence of God. They can tell you what the Lord spoke to them and what the Lord used the pastor to minister. They leave the service being built up in the faith, encouraged and ready to tackle the next test.

Besides that, another method to tell who the spectators and participators are, watch how they handle their trials. The participator will glorify God through it all, the spectator has not oil neither unction and will murmur and complain through the entire process.

So who will you be in the House of God; spectator or participator?
